Summary:The
Bonding Technician is within our
materials division and is responsible for preparing, bonding, and cleaning materials, inspecting and packaging products, maintaining product integrity, processing and documenting procedures and other related documentation and ensuring a safe work environment.
Key Job Elements:- Material Preparation: Prepare, bond, and clean all standard and non-standard materials as required by KJLC.
- Product Inspection and Packaging: Inspect, clean, and package standard products to meet KJLC quality standards and procedures
- Product Integrity: Maintain product integrity and certification throughout the entire process.
- Documentation and Process Maintenance: Accurately process all documentation and electronic transactions while maintaining and updating procedures to support job functions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:Required - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in using packaging and inspection tools and equipment
- Competence in using bonding equipment and safely handling heated products
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and lift up to 60 lbs. unassisted. Assistance is mandatory for items over this weight
- Patience, attention to detail, and strong mechanical aptitude
Preferred - 2 years of experience in soldering and/or assembly of critical components
