Summary:As a
Software Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for performing general tasks related to the design and development, implementation, and documentation of our
cutting-edge machine control systems based on Visual Basic, C, and Real Time Controller from National Instruments (LabView) development platforms. The internship provides individuals direct exposure to work with highly qualified professionals and real-world situations you will experience in the field. In this opportunity, you will gain, expand, and refine your professional skills and experiences!
Key Job Elements:- Revise source code based on direction from Sr. Software Engineer
- Develop Human Machine Graphical Interfaces (HMI)
- Write/modify operations manuals for software
- Load operating systems and configure new computer hardware
- Install control system source code onto new computers
- Validate operation of control software on system builds
- Perform general office clerical duties
- Reliable attendance
- Perform duties in a safe manner with a high level of quality
Qualifications:Required- High school diploma or equivalent
- Finished 2nd or 3rd year of college with an accredited university in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Visual Basic
- Experience in C or C++
Preferred- Exposure or knowledge on machine control
- Exposure or knowledge in Labview or PLC type programming and controls
