Overview of Responsibilities: Elevate your career as Assembly Technician with our dynamic team! In this pivotal operational role, you’ll be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components and build a sputtering equipment with minimal guidance. Your experience will help you translating the details and specifications on the engineering drawings into precision parts by determining how best to assemble the required items. Uses various power tools in assembly operations (drills, screw guns, crimpers, welder, etc.)
Operates all types of leak check equipment and other complex test procedures and fixtures
Follows written procedures, instructions, complex blueprints and schematics.
Uses proper vacuum techniques in assembly including the use of alcohol and acetone
Inspecting assemblies for conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as calipers, scales, and micrometers
Uses D.V.M. in simple troubleshooting
Reporting any defective parts, or safety concerns to the supervisor
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 12 months of related experience or completion of a trade school program
Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics
Strong math skills, including the ability to take precise measurements and perform calculations
Excellent hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues that rise during the assembly process
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work from a stepladder (up to 6 feet in height)
Ability to maintain hose racks, screw bins, and other production supplies
Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning work areas using vacuum and brooms
Pull, stock, and return parts from inventory as needed.
Ability to safely handle hazardous materials and hazardous waste in accordance with applicable procedures.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills

Within this range, individual pay is influenced by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, etc. The compensation range for this role is $45000 to $75000 per year.
