Materials Control Technician

Kurt J Lesker Company is looking for a PED (Process Equipment Division) Materials Control Technician who will be responsible for organising parts racks, unboxing and uncrating items, answering material-related questions, managing expense items, processing defective products, and delivering additional materials as needed. This role requires the ability to lift up to 25kg and work in a warehouse and assembly environment.

Key Job Elements:

• Organise parts racks to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of items.
• Unbox and uncrate items, ensuring they are handled safely and staged appropriately.
• Answer material-related questions from team members and other departments.
• Manage expense items, including restocking and reordering.
• Process defective products, including documentation and disposition.
• Deliver additional materials as needed to support ongoing projects and operations.
• Packaging of items for shipment.
• Working with our ERP system to help manage production efforts
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Required

• GCSE’s or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 25kg.
• Good computer skills.

Preferred

• Previous experience in a warehouse or assembly environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with an ERP system.

Working Environment:

• Work environment includes warehouse and assembly space.
• Safety-toed shoes must be worn at all times.
