Materials Control Technician
Kurt J Lesker Company is looking for a PED (Process Equipment Division) Materials Control Technician who will be responsible for organising parts racks, unboxing and uncrating items, answering material-related questions, managing expense items, processing defective products, and delivering additional materials as needed. This role requires the ability to lift up to 25kg and work in a warehouse and assembly environment.
Key Job Elements:
Organise parts racks to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of items.
Unbox and uncrate items, ensuring they are handled safely and staged appropriately.
Answer material-related questions from team members and other departments.
Manage expense items, including restocking and reordering.
Process defective products, including documentation and disposition.
Deliver additional materials as needed to support ongoing projects and operations.
Packaging of items for shipment.
Working with our ERP system to help manage production efforts
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications: Required
GCSE’s or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 25kg.
Good computer skills.
Preferred
Previous experience in a warehouse or assembly environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience working with an ERP system.
