Overview of Responsibilities: The position of this position carries an overriding responsibility to contribute to corporate sales efforts by building and nurturing highly effective territorial sales coverage which leads to profitable business levels in the given sales territory. Responsible for sales of all current and future products of the Strategic Business Segments of the company and have responsibility for an annual sales budget.

Develop customer database from various customer account lists, makes cold calls, participates in product fairs and seminars, works with marketing to understand new offers and leads in local area, works with marketing to gain information on leads out of scope for their services, generates leads independently and follows-up appropriately.
Implement customer satisfaction survey – recording the information from survey into company website; summarize and analyze collected data once per quarter.
Solution Selling – consults with clients to determine their needs and works with application sales specialists to generate multi-product/service solution. Takes initiative to learn new offers and products, as they become available. Able to apply new product knowledge in business development efforts.
Proposal/Presentation Generation – using tools and resources as needed. Develop customized presentations using Power Point.
Develop and manage relationships with current client to develop additional business as well as ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Information Tracking and Reporting – insures that opportunity information is detailed and current to insure accurate revenue and product forecasting, captures activity information on a timely basis as client interactions occur.
Prepare sales call; Try to get as more information as possible for the customer company and the key contact person.
Try to understand customers’ true requirement and details. Focus on the product that the customer interested in.
Follow up after sales call, and arrange more sales calls to solidify customer relationship.
Coordinate inside sales to accomplish the work required to close deals.
Occasionally provide on-the-job training for new employees, other occasional responsibilities may be assigned

Qualifications: Required
Previous training and experience:
Should possess formal engineering, science or business training with commensurate degree and/or appropriate prior experience.
Advanced selling skills, vertical market knowledge (ie industry knowledge relevant to geographic area) and technical knowledge are necessary. Must possess ability to analyze client business requirements and develop creative solutions as well as utilize technical resources to complete and accurate and technically assured sales order.
Physical Requirements
Basic physical requirements encountered in a typical office environment are required.
Only light lifting is required.
Must be physically mobile and have the ability to travel freely to customer sites typically encountered in university, laboratory, and industrial settings.
Must possess functional speech, hearing and vision conducive to normal and effective communications.
Good Chinese and English reading, writing, listening and speaking skills are required.
Frequent domestic travelling are required
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree, 3+ year’s sales experience.

Working Environment:
As a rule, the job will be performed at the Regional Sales Office and remote customer facilities.
Working hours are typically 8 hours during normal business hours with an appropriate 1-hour lunch break, but off hours or weekends are required as job duties dictate.
Moderate to frequent overnight and/or local travel is required.
Equipment:
Must be capable of operating and, to a minor degree of maintaining all typical office equipment (copier, telephone, fax machine, computer, etc).
Must be able to operate standard company computer software which is a part of the main operating system.
Must also be able to adapt to new software programs of the company or sales personnel and become proficient in their operations.
Must be able to demonstrate for customers any new and/or existing products of the Company.
