Overview of Responsibilities: This is a senior level position where the employee will be responsible for managing Asia Technical Service Team and facilitation of installation, customer support and service for warranty or non-warranty PVD products and systems. Be responsible for leading a team of service technicians to satisfy customer and contractual requirements. This individual will build, train and manage the service team and work schedule to meet business needs.
Key Job Elements: • Be able to schedule and manage the efficient work plan for service team. • Manage and lead Asia Technical Service Team to perform customer support activities for equipment and products. • Manage and lead the Service Work safely. • Directly work with KJLC HQ and KJLC UK for service works needs. • Manage and coordinate on-site installations and emergency repairs. • Lead Service Tean to work with appropriate personnel to facilitate customer returns and exchanges of systems components. • Interact with other departments to ensure timely delivery, service or resolution • Service products that include mechanical, electrical and software systems • Basic understanding of software navigation and PC operation • Thorough understanding of vacuum technology and thin film deposition techniques and processes • Customer interaction and on-site service and training. • Training of other engineers and service technicians on proper methods and techniques regarding assembly and test tasks as well as vacuum practices. • Responsible for On-Board training of any new hires in the department • Perform work in a logical organized manner while maintaining a high level of quality workmanship • Be able to manage and coordinate with involved departments to handle all service works and issues. • Be adaptable for frequent traveling • Be able to manage and help service team on service and customer support issues • Be able to make decision on normal and urgent issues. • Be able to manage and lead Service Team do the daily work with Company’s policies and Work instructions. • Manage the service team to submit the reports and collect the customer survey timely. • Understanding of product schematics and operation • Understanding of administrative tasks required for proper documentation and billing • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required • 8 + years related experience. • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds • Good English writing, listening, speaking and reading skills are required. • Excellent organization and communication skills. • Be adaptable for frequent travelling.
Preferred • 8 to10 + years related experience or relevant course work with an Associate or Bachelor degree, including leadership or supervisor experience.
