Responsibilities- Lead global accounting operations (close, consolidation, financial statements) and core processes (AR/AP, credit, sales tax), ensuring strong controls, clear accountability, and consistent, high-quality execution
- Build, mentor, and elevate a high-performing global accounting team, establishing clear standards, developing talent, and fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement
- Serve as the company’s technical accounting leader, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable), leading external audits, and strengthening the overall internal control environment
- Drive standardization, automation, and scalability across global processes, including strong ERP governance (Microsoft Dynamics 365)
- Improve working capital performance and drive discipline around the cash conversion cycle
- Lead cost accounting and management reporting, providing clear insights into margin drivers across manufacturing and distribution, including inventory governance, overhead rates, WIP/COGS, and variance analysis
- Partner closely with the CFO and leadership team on strategic initiatives, including budgeting and forecasting, acquisition diligence, and post-acquisition integration

Required Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CMA, or Equivalent
- 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including recent Controller-level leadership
- Experience leading global accounting, close, and consolidation processes
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and strong technical accounting capabilities
- Proven ability to build, lead, and retain high-performing teams
- Demonstrated success improving processes, systems, and controls in a growing or complex organization
- Ability to travel internationally as needed
Preferred Qualifications- ERP implementation or optimization experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
- Manufacturing or distribution experience, including inventory and cost accounting
- Tax accounting and coordination with external advisors
- Experience supporting M&A, integrations, or global expansion
