Overview of Responsibilities: 
KDF Technologies, LLC is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to lead day-to-day production operations. The role involves strategic process management, efficiency optimization, and seamless interdepartmental coordination. Responsibilities include overseeing materials, planning, procurement, inventory, assembly, testing, and service. Reporting to the General Manager, the Operations Manager is key to maintaining quality and productivity. The Operations Manager will play a key role in ensuring smooth functioning of the organization.

Key Job Elements:
  • Process Optimization: Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement. Implement streamlined workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to meet production targets, minimize waste, and optimize resource utilization
  • Supply Chain Management: Oversee procurement to ensure timely sourcing, inventory management, and distribution of materials
  • Quality Control: Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain product/service standards. Monitor performance metrics and address any deviations promptly
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams. Foster a positive work environment and encourage collaboration
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage budgets for operational expenses & output. Monitor spending, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure adherence to financial guidelines
  • Risk Assessment: Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Vendor Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service providers. Negotiate contracts and monitor performance
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices. Implement innovative solutions to enhance operational effectiveness
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze data to make informed decisions and drive operational excellence

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a similar operations management role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software and ERP systems
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure
  • Proven track record in creating and implementing successful strategic plans
