The Building Maintenance Technician supports a safe, clean, and efficient work environment for Kurt J. Lesker Company employees. This role is responsible for routine and corrective building maintenance to ensure facilities are functional, well‑maintained, and compliant with safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands‑on, and detail‑oriented, with a strong work ethic, a customer‑service mindset, and the flexibility to support a variety of facility needs as part of a team.

Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine building maintenance, including repairs to doors, windows, walls, and other structural elements
Apply basic carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical skills to support facility projects
Complete painting, drywall, carpentry, fixture installation, and minor renovations as needed
Move furniture, materials, and equipment within the facility
Perform snow removal and trash/recycling collection
Assist with setup and teardown of rooms and outdoor areas for company functions, on‑site or off‑site (including furniture, food, and beverages)
Support facility operations as needed, including tasks outside the primary job scope
Travel locally and work overtime as required
Maintain a safe, compliant, and reliable work environment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs independently; team assistance required for items over 60 lbs
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
Ability to work independently or collaboratively to complete tasks
Strong teamwork, reliability, and work ethic
Ability to organize work and maintain a safe environment for self and others
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in building or facilities maintenance
