The Global Controller is a senior finance leader accountable for the integrity, scalability, and effectiveness of the company’s global accounting and financial reporting. This role provides leadership across close, consolidation, technical accounting, audit, and internal controls, and serves as a key partner to divisional leadership across manufacturing, distribution, assembly, service, capital equipment, and precious metals to strengthen working capital discipline, cost control, and enterprise decision‑making.

Responsibilities:
Partner with the CFO and leadership team on budgeting, forecasting, and acquisition initiatives, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration.
Drive working capital improvement and cash conversion cycle performance across inventory, receivables, and payables in partnership with operational and commercial leaders
Lead global accounting operations, including close, consolidation, financial reporting, and core accounting functions, with strong controls and consistent execution.
Establish close discipline and reporting rigor, improving visibility into cash flow and margin performance to support sustained growth
Provide technical accounting leadership to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP (and IFRS where applicable), lead external audits, and own the internal control environment
Drive process standardization, automation, and ERP governance (Microsoft Dynamics 365) to support a scalable finance function
Own inventory and cost accounting, including valuation and reserves, work in process (WIP), cost of goods sold (COGS), overhead rates, and variance and root cause analysis
Oversee precious metals and foreign exchange hedging programs, including governance, controls, and accurate accounting and reporting.
Lead and develop a high performing accounting team by setting clear expectations, building capability, and reinforcing accountability
Qualifications:
Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
CPA or MBA/advanced degree
12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including recent Controller-level roles
Experience leading global accounting operations, close, and consolidation
Strong technical accounting skills and deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP
Proven people leadership: build, develop, and retain high-performing teams
Track record of improving processes, systems, and controls in a growing or complex environment
Ability to travel internationally as needed
Preferred
ERP implementation/optimization experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
Experience with multi-entity and multi-currency environments
Tax accounting experience (in partnership with external advisors)
M&A, integration, or global expansion experience
Domestic and international travel as needed
