KDF Technologies is a leading manufacturer of PVD (physical vapor deposition) capital equipment serving the microelectronics, medical, thin film circuit, and semiconductor industries. Located in Northern New Jersey, we support customers ranging from innovative startups to Fortune 500 companies. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team and support the day-to-day accounting operations of the business.
Overview of responsibilities: The Purchasing/Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and accounting support to ensure the efficient operation of the Accounting Department. This role involves processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, assisting with reconciliations, and supporting month-end closing activities.
Key Job elements:
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payments.
Generate customer invoices and assist with accounts receivable collections.
Perform data entry of financial transactions into the accounting system.
Maintain vendor and customer records.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and maintain accounting files, records, and documentation.
Support audits by gathering requested documentation and reports.
Assist with inventory and fixed asset recordkeeping as required.
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries regarding payment status and account balances.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to facilitate accurate financial recordkeeping.
Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
1–3 years of accounting, bookkeeping, or clerical experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Within this range, individual pay is influenced by various factors, including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, etc. The compensation range for this role is $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
